SUPPORTING THE KIPS BAY BOYS & GIRLS CLUB THROUGH BEDDING DONATED TO THE KIPS BAY DECORATOR SHOW HOUSE
When designer Shelly Rosenberg was tasked with creating a bedroom for the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas, she imagined a space that would be accessible so that all could enjoy it. After all, she began Acorn & Oak as a support system for families raising children with disabilities and special needs. She then brought Virginia's Sanctuary, an accessible bedroom, into being. Down Etc was delighted to donate its feather and down pillow forms and duvet for a bed that will be as comfortable and accessible as it is beautiful.
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas benefits the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Twenty-six designers and architects offered their talents to bring this home to life. From the entry hall to the study to the lounge, each space is a unique creation of its designer. You can see all of the designs in a photo layout in housebeautiful.com. Down Etc believes a bedroom should be the restful, relaxing haven that will make a great night's sleep possible. Virginia's Sanctuary certainly does all of that.
