Kids are incredible. Unable to perform their annual Christmas 4 Kidz Charity Concert due to pandemic restrictions, these kids devoted their creativity and energy to tie-dying pillowcases, filling stockings, and making cards for other kids as part of the Christmas 4 Kidz Comfort & Joy project. Christmas 4 Kidz, sponsored by the nonprofit Coastal Music & Arts Foundation, is all about “kids finding a way to help other kids who are in need.”
Working with several local charities serving children in low income communities, family shelters, and group homes, the group met its goal of 250 tie-dyed pillowcases with pillows, 100 filled stockings, and 500 handmade cards. Down Etc was delighted to contribute pillowcases to be tie-dyed, filled, and delivered to kids in need by the Comfort & Joy Project. We can’t wait to see what these kids do next, on and off the stage.
